“The Festival that showcases the production dynamics of Cacc’e Mmitte in a spectacular format.”

Cacc’e Mmitte di Lucera is a DOC wine produced in the Tavoliere area, at the foot of the Daunian Apennines, in the municipalities of Lucera, Biccari, and Troia (Foggia province).

The name comes from an old winemaking process: farm owners rented out their equipment, and tenants had to finish the process within the day to free the equipment for the next user. One tenant would remove (Cacc’e) the freshly made must, while the next would add (Mmitte) their grapes for pressing.
